We appreciate your interest in the Greensboro Woman’s Club. Any woman aged 21 and above who is willing and able to assume responsibility in the planning and carrying out of volunteer service-related activities in GWC may apply to become a member. Our business meetings are held

September through May on the first Wednesday of each month.

The Club is open to receive Prospective applicants from June 1 through September 15. Membership will reopen on June 1, 2020. Upon admission to the Club, a Prospective applicant becomes a Provisional Member. Attendance at an orientation session is mandatory. Provisional Members will be inducted at the May Installation and Awards meeting, at which time they become full-fledged members.

A $25 non-refundable deposit (to be applied to the annual dues of $75)

should accompany the application form, and both should be mailed USPS only to:

GWC Membership Chairwoman

223 North Edgeworth St.

Greensboro, NC 27401

Prospective applicants will be contacted by the Membership Chairwoman within a week of receipt of their application. In the event of limited available membership vacancies, prospective applicants will be admitted based upon chronological order, shown by the postmarked date on the envelope containing their mailed application form and deposit. Should no membership openings be available, the applicant will have the option to request a refund or

allow the club to retain their deposit and application for the next club year.
