Our club meets monthly at the Weir-Jordan House during the months of September through May, but we do not hold business meetings during the summer.

Serving the Greensboro

Community since 1909

Last year we raised $1,800 for Greensboro area charities, and we had fun doing it!

Each month, different club members will chair volunteer hand-on projects for which members may sign up and participate. During the last club year, for example, we manned a booth at the Music Academy fundraiser at Guilford College, collected bug repellent and toiletries for our soldiers overseas, walked in the Human Race and Crop Walk, made fleece blankets for the adult residents at Bell House, served soup at Urban Ministries Feast of Caring, wrapped gifts for the Adult Center for Enrichment, and made monetary donations to agencies in need.

Last year, through our fundraising efforts, we were able to donate over $1,800.00 to community projects and charities.   We sold pecans, held a BUNKO game night and walked in the Human Race.

We also make time for social events.  During the holidays we decorate the clubhouse and host an ornament exchange for club members, and this past spring we took an "all-girls" trip to the beach.
